On the 29th May, 2011 at approximately 9:35 a.m. lightning struck the studio building of JemRadio, a local non-profit gospel radio station, located in Hopewell Road, St. Vincent. The severe lightning, caused by what can only be described as ‘freakish’ weather resulted in a great extent of damage to a number of pieces of electrical equipment necessary for the function of the studio.
JemRadio is in need of assistance and will greatly appreciate the support of the public to restore the operation of the studio.
